Virtual Accounts

Dedicated virtual accounts are accounts that you have reserved for a specific purpose. They are subdivided into dedicated virtual accounts reserved for:

• topping up your balances.

• receiving payments from your customers.

You may reserve and discard virtual accounts at any time.

Please note that discarded virtual accounts are released back to the available bank account pools of the payment processor/gateway who may reassign them to other customers. Transfers made to such accounts will not be settled to SwitchApp. Therefore, always inform your customers to verify the resolved account details on their banking applications before making payments.
