Metadata

Metadata is extra information you supply to help you process API responses.

Metadata are key-value pairs you can attach as parameters to certain requests in the SwitchApp API. These parameters are always made available on the data created by those requests to help you with response processing.

Additional information that can be stored using metadata include userId, ticketNumber, etc. The data contained in your metadata is only useful to you and as such SwitchApp does not investigate your metadata.
